Google Maps adds walking directions

Google maps has certainly changed the ease with which we get around these days. Now they've raised the bar even higher and provided walking directions on their service. Many of us are familiar with sites that provide directions for driving. But as we turn to alternative means of transport (bipedal ones) it makes sense that we get directions for our feet rather than our wheels.
